Divination
Divination is a path to the knowledge of the universe. It is not fortune telling, but a way to gain a deeper understanding of the universe and the influences that affect a person or situation.
The Pagan Festival of Samhain is celebrated on October 31st or November 1st depending on the tradition. It is also knows as The Celtic New Year, The Witch's New Year, and The Day of the Dead. In this post we'll start off with some background on Samhain then show some of the traditional celebrations.
What is intuition? To me it is that connection with the Divine that is within each of us. It is much more than our current mind and body. Intuition is usually detached from emotion; it is Divine guidance or information. It is the information we get from our Soul; that eternal light that burns within us through many lifetimes. Our conscious awareness does not know near as much as what our subconscious mind knows. One of my friends defines intuition to be the messages received unconsciously or subconsciously from the higher power that placed them on this earth. Certainly our subconscious mind has more information than the conscious mind and the messages that flow from our subconscious minds offers very good intuitive guidance as it has gone through many lifetimes with us. But when I am connected to the Divine, that vast Universe of Consciousness, I am fully connected to all that is and my intuitive guidance is at its highest.
