chieving our desires, including love, career success and happiness, involves dissolving our blocks. We are naturally wired for love, success, happiness and security. However, we go about throwing all kinds of blocks and walls in our way based on fear. Wrapping ourselves in the cape of victimization is one of those blocks. Dissolving and transforming those inner victims of ours smooth?s the way to fulfillment.
No one likes to admit it, but we all have elements of an inner victim inside us. It can creep its way into our lives in sabotaging ways. When you can recognize some of the characteristics of your inner victim, you can change it and dissolve the blocks that hold you back.
The top medical symptoms in this day and age are gastritis, depression, high cholesterol, and in that order. And instead of using all those medications that have a long list of side effects you can use natural herbs and natural remedies to help you feel better in no time.
Gastritis ? Take a cup of chamomile tea and then take some capsules of slippery elm powder or marshmallow root powder, and or activated charcoal? and meditate for 15 minutes and you will be on the mend.
As an acquaintance so eloquently asked, ?what is Chakra Balancing and Auric Cleansing and why the heck do I need it?? Good question.
In this awesome, challenging time we?re living in, with the Great Shift, the end of an earth age, it?s imperative that we consciously make the effort to keep ourselves balanced and grounded. This is a time of transformation and growth for all, but as we grow, we may do so unevenly. As we encounter challenging people or situations, one chakra may constrict, expand or become blocked, and we become unbalanced.
Going back to the early 1970s, studies in the United States and Europe have repeatedly shown that when addicted people are taught to meditate, their level of anxiety decreases, pulling down with it their use of alcohol, cigarettes, and other drugs.
If the addiction is caught at an early stage, a large proportion of subjects will stop abusing substances altogether. This is a very important point, because the early stage is where most cures are possible.
New York Harbor is 15 inches higher than it was in 1880, eight of which are due directly to human-made climate change. A 2007 report suggested that by 2100 the seas could be at least seven inches higher still.
But those estimates may have been conservative. The Institute of Physics revealed today that the seas are rising 60 percent faster than expected.
These questions have no right or wrong answers.
Because sometimes asking the right questions is the answer.
How old would you be if you didn?t know how old you are?
Which is worse, failing or never trying?
If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don?t like and like so many things we don?t do?
When it?s all said and done, will you have said more than you?ve done?

In my office, I see the negative results of panic every day. People get upset, they?re afraid of emotional consequences, and they overreact, which can actually create the consequences they fear. Panic is an overreaction to a real (or even imagined) problem. Frightening yourself beyond the real need to deal with a problem puts your body into ?fight or flight? mode?as though your life were immediately threatened. Emotional panic can create a shutdown of feelings?so you?re in a state of shock. In this state , you cannot think clearly, or make good responses, choices and decisions. In panic, we do not retain information, absorb what we hear, or accurately assess the situation. Panic is the worst thing you can do in a real emergency, and if the situation is not dire, panic will make it worse.

Most of us have experienced the sense of knowing things before we know them, even if we can?t explain how. You hesitate at a green light and miss getting hit by a speeding truck. You decide on a whim to break your no-blind-dates policy and wind up meeting your life partner. You have a hunch that you should invest in a little online startup and it becomes Google.
If only you could tap into those insights more often, right? Turns out you can, especially if you learn to identify which signals to focus on ? whether they?re sweaty palms, a funny feeling in your stomach, or a sudden and inexplicable certainty that something is up.
If you think you?re constantly getting barraged with other people?s drama, consider this: most drama in people?s lives is internal. If we had a microphone that could record our thoughts or feelings, we?d be astonished by how much emotional upheaval we?re adding to both the big and little stresses in our lives.
For example, your husband is late for dinner. You start worrying and building possible terrible scenarios in your mind: he was in a car accident?he was mugged?he is two-timing you. Then he arrives home apologetic for being late and that he couldn?t call you because his phone ran out of battery. Whew. Then you have to recover from all that story you created in your head, and the resulting energy drain that left you exhausted.

No doubt you have heard the expression ?don?t burn any bridges behind you?. When was the last time you heard or used that saying? Quite often it refers to situations where you are leaving a job, organization or service. You don?t want to leave on a bad note as you never know, you may want that person to help you again, ask for the old job back or even move back into a relationship. Perhaps you have no desire or plan on returning but we want those left behind to think well of us. After all, more harm can come to you through gossip and negative talk behind you back; better to leave them smiling and even better with a tear in their eye as you walk out the door, right?
The Yoga approach to happiness is holistic and involves the emotional art of healing the mind in order to bring change to the body, mind and emotions. Happiness with Yoga is a healing process.
The Art of Happiness teaches you how to look deep within yourself, usually in contemplation, to find peace and satisfaction. Sukha, inner contentment, is the deepest form of satisfaction. Experiencing your own bliss is the most profound peace. Our Yoga practice, our Sadhana, supports the process by continually restoring balance in the mind body system at all levels of our being whilst Meditation and Pranayama, breathing practices, bring awareness of how tyranical our thoughts and emotions can be.
The World Bank warned Sunday that if climate change isn't stopped or slowed down, the global economy will suffer greatly.
The report, titled "Turn Down the Heat," envisions a world that is warmer by an average of 4 degrees Celsius (7.2 degrees Fahrenheit). According to Jim Yong Kim, president of the World Bank, the report is meant to "shock [the world] into action."
"A 4 degree Celsius world is so different from the current one that it comes with high uncertainty and new risks that threaten our ability to anticipate and plan for future adaptation needs," he writes.
Most of us, who work with the body and energetic healing, are aware that we are shifting into a higher vibrational rate. Our clients are coming in with complaints of generally not feeling well or excessive stress and sometimes of pain that can?t be pin pointed. Symptoms of the shift taking place in the world. Those individuals who are resisting this shift are suffering with physical effects. Why would anyone resist? Change is difficult, being unfamiliar with new and unknown; it is safer to stay in the misery we are acquainted with. As healers we are being called into service and expanding our abilities so that we may aid those struggling. We do this working with the physical body and also the luminous light body. The subtle-energy field that surrounds us and interacts with our physical body flows in and out. There are seven main centers where this occurs, known as chakras. Physical disease will appear as an external manifestation of disturbances to these energetic fields.
There are an infinite number of books written about conscious parenting and attachment parenting. Somehow the two concepts seem different but ultimately they say the same thing: nurture your child by listening, observing, reacting and interacting through your heart filled with love and anchored in the here and now. Conscious / Attachment parenting (CAP), in its varying approaches, rests upon the fundamental principle of respect and gentleness a parent must have towards his or her child from the very first moment of contact.
If you?re even considering a raw/vegan diet, you?ve either asked or been asked ?Where do you get your protein from? at least a handful of times. Get ready to answer this questions a lot, because it?s not only a great question, it?s one of the most commonly asked among beginners in the raw/vegan health realm. Why do we need protein? All living cells use proteins (amino acids) for tissue growth and repair, and an array of other vital functions. Proteins are often referred to as ?the building blocks? of life.
